Joanna also has experience in many areas of civil litigation, from simple debt recovery to complex litigation.

Expertise

Joanna focuses on achieving outcomes for her clients that are in accordance with the Family Law Court principles of justice and equity. Joanna appreciates the emotional distress that can result from lengthy court proceedings and she seeks to minimise this by way of effective settlement negotiation.

Joanna has handled matters involving international disputes about forum, child relocation matters, advising on property matters involving multimillion dollar asset pools, drafting of parenting and property orders, drafting and advising on Binding Financial Agreements.

Joanna ensures that she is up to date with the very latest changes to the law, and keeps clients informed about the practical effects to them of any of those changes.

Joanna also has experience in dealing with disputes relating to same sex and defacto couples.
